'Mastermind behind Sabarimala gold loot still inside parliament, Marxist sympathiser'; Adoor Prakash with shocking allegation

PALAKKAD: UDF convener Adoor Prakash said he was unaware of the heinous motives of Unnikrishnan Potty while meeting him. Potty is the main accused in the Sabarimala gold theft case.

Adoor Prakash also expressed his total cooperation if the special investigation team summon him for questioning. Adoor Prakash, however, raised allegations that a Marxist MP from Kerala was involved in the gold theft case and demanded that his financial sources be investigated. He made these allegations while talking to the media in Palakkad.

"Unnikrishnan Potty is from my constituency. I met him but had no idea of his heinous motives. It was after we got to know each other that Potty invited me to Sabariamla to inaugurate an event. In Delhi, Potty made an appointment to meet senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. He insisted that I give the offerings from the Sabarimala temple to Sonia Gandhi. This is why I got involved in the photo now everybody is talking about.

I did not help him in any way to meet Sonia Gandhi. He called me after reaching Delhi. The real mastermind is still sitting inside Parliament. He is a sympathiser of the Marxist Party. SIT should investigate his role. He is the same person who went to alleviate tensions between the BJP and the Communists. SIT should also investigate the phone calls this particular MP had with Unnikrishnan Potty” said Adoor Prakash.
