'Those involved in loot cannot escape lord Ayyappa's wrath'; Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala responds
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said top leaders who conspired on the Sabarimala gold loot are still roaming free. Chennithala alleged that CPM is using shrewd means to somehow shield those leaders and divert the investigation.
Ramesh Chennithala:
“Tantri’s arrest is a legal matter. Let it take its course. No one is above the law. Let things proceed accordingly. Let the SIT's investigation move forward. All the culprits should be brought before the law. There are former ministers involved in the conspiracy. Let’s hope they will also be put behind bars. Those committed sin will not be able to escape from the wrath of lord Ayyappa.
The important thing is to solve the Sabarimala gold theft case. It is not a question of who is involved. Everyone is equal before the law. No matter how elite the accused are, those who conspired against lord Ayyappa should be punished. I have got information on the role played by former ministers,” said Ramesh Chennithala.
