'Never thought Minister Ganesh Kumar would do that to my family', says Chandy Oommen MLA in Pathanapuram

PATHANAMPURAM: Chandy Oommen MLA alleged the devious role of CPM behind the infamous Solar case that shook Kerala years ago. The Puthuppally MLA was inaugurating a reception given to UDF members of the Pathanapuram panchayat and block panchayat at Mancode Junction. In his speech, Chandy Oommen took potshots at Minister Ganesh Kumar over the controversial 18-page letter in the solar case.

Chandy Oommen:

“My father and R. Balakrishna Pillai kept a bond that was deemed unbreakable. I used to call Ganesh Kumar's mother Aunty. My father loved Ganesh Kumar as much as he loved me. Yet how did the controversial 18-page letter in the solar case become 24 pages? Even today, a case is ongoing in the Kottarakkara court regarding this issue. I strongly believe that justice will be served one day. Oommen Chandy, never in his life, has skittered away from the righteous path. Ganesh Kumar travelled to Coimbatore and other parts of Tamil Nadu in search of Oommen Chandy's CD in the solar case. Did he get anything crucial? It was such a despicable show from the current Transport Minister.”
