ALAPPUZHA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan said he will meet NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair soon. Vellappally Natesan was responding to the media after a crucial SNDP meeting. Thushar Vellappally will also be part of the meeting with NSS.

Vellappally Natesan:

“SNDP keeps no animosity with any community. Our opinion about the Muslim League was tweaked in a way to look like hatred against the Muslim community. It is never our style to attack or criticize Muslim community. Our organization envision and works for harmony in society. The only thing we did was to expose the discrimination carried out by the Muslim League when they were in power.

It was NSS that trumpeted the need for a coalition with SNDP. We are grateful to Sukumaran Nair for that. The NSS-SNDP unity is the need of the hour. Many found it wrong when I arrived in CM Pinarayi Vijayan's car at the Global Ayyappa Conclave. However, the CM clarified that he would again travel with me in the same car. The controversy ended there. Period.

Thushar Vellapally has been assigned to carry out meetings with NSS.

Secularism will be ensured in districts, including Malappuram, from ‘Nayadi to Nasrani’ community. None of them can be avoided. The new discussion will be about correcting all the mistakes made. There will no longer be a problem of NSS and SNDP locking horns. ”
