'Palash caught in bed with another woman by Smriti's teammates'; Shocking revelation from Vidnyan Mane

MUMBAI: Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music director Palash Muchhal had their wedding called off in dramatic style a month ago, gifting fodder from gossip columns and tabloids. Initially, it was reported that the wedding was called off following Smriti's father, Shrinivas Mandhana, suffering a heart attack.

Several stories floated on social media regarding the incident, and once again, the rumours have made their way back.

Smriti's friend, actor and producer Vidnyan Mane, made a shocking revelation regarding the breakup of the marriage. Mane said that Palash was cheating on Smriti and was caught red-handed sleeping with another woman in bed. Vidnyan Mane said that he is Smriti's childhood friend, and Smriti's father introduced Palash to him.

"Palash was caught red-handed in bed with another woman. Smriti's teammates and friends in the Indian team saw this and confronted Palash. His entire family consists of fraudsters,” said Mane.

Vidnyan had approached the police a few days ago, alleging that Palash duped him of Rs 40 lakh by promising a chance in a film. According to the complaint filed with the police, Vidnyan Mane met Palash in Sangli on December 5, 2023. Mane expressed his interest in investing money in film production. With this, Palash asked him to work with him and invest money in his upcoming project, 'Nazariya'.

Palash made him believe that he could make a profit of Rs 12 lakh if the film made it into OTT. The complaint alleges that a total of Rs 40 lakh was paid to Palash till March 2025. However, Palash did not start any of the projects as promised. When demanded the money back, Palash first requested more time and then ignored his phone calls.

Meanwhile, Palash denied the allegations on his Instagram story and said Vidnyan’s allegations were baseless.
