THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former minister and MLA M M Mani stepped forward turning against S Rajendran who joined the BJP from CPM. Mani said that if he challenges the party, will have to deal him. His criticism was at a public programme of the CPM held in Munnar.

'Rajendran was made district panchayat president and MLA. The CPM has no obligation to make Rajendran an MLA and carry him forward. We are forgiving and therefore, he should behave properly. We have nothing to do if he joins the BJP or the RSS. He should be grateful for the rice he had. If he challenges the party after getting benefits including pension, we know how to deal him,’ clarified M M Mani. Mani also gestured to eliminate him.

Meantime, Rajendran responded that he is not afraid of M M Mani's threat. Rajendran clarified that he is not a person who is afraid of death and let Mani Asan say whatever he wants. Rajendran, a three-time Devikulam MLA, joined the BJP last week. State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar received him after draping a golden shawl at the BJP state office, Mararji Bhavan. Rajendran had made it clear at that time that he had lost faith in the CPM and that he could not continue.

He approached Rajeev Chandrasekhar because the central government's intervention was needed to resolve the problems in the high range, including Idukki. He assured him of these matters. The political change came after he said that there would be political intervention. He has no desire to bring anyone or anything from the movements. Joining the BJP with high hopes. Therefore, Rajendran had said that he cannot say that he is completely in the BJP now.
