Visuals of KSRTC employee slapping drunk passenger emerges

IDUKKI: The visuals of a KSRTC employee beating a drunk passenger at the bus stand has emerged. The visuals of the employee slapping the passenger surfaced. The employees said the drunk passenger, who was travelling in a bus from Adimali to Thodupuzha on Wednesday evening, entered into a dispute with his fellow passengers. When the bus reached Thodupuzha stand, the drunk passenger also tried to manhandle.

Meanwhile, in a fit of rage, a uniformed employee slapped the passenger. Another passenger also beat him. The police who arrived later coaxed the passenger to leave. The police say there is no complaint or case in the incident. However, the depot authorities explain that the employees did not beat him and that the problem arose between the passengers.
