"Attempts to portray Kerala as a centre of terrorism": Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan bashes Kerala Story sequel
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that the release of the second part of the film 'The Kerala Story', which was made with the aim of spreading hatred against Kerala and insulting the secular tradition, should be taken cautiously.
It was realised that the first part, which was filled with gross lies, hatred and anti-Kerala propaganda, was made with communal motives. That perverted creation, which was released under the guise of a work of art, was rejected.
It was the Sangh Parivar centres that took up the ridiculous false impression of 'Kerala Story' and spread it. They are the ones who are spreading false propaganda by giving the colour of communalism and forced religious conversion to even consensual marriages. Attempts to portray Kerala, a land of religious harmony, as a centre of terrorism should be rejected, the Chief Minister said in a Facebook post.
