'Feel like disappearing right now'; RJ Princy Parikh deletes viral reel featuring South Africa’s David Miller
Following heavy backlash and jibes alleging corny content, popular RJ Princy Parikh deleted her viral reel featuring South Africa’s David Miller. The video showed the popular RJ cavorting around Miller for the tune "Waah Shampy Waah”. The video went viral with its share of jibes, and the RJ finally decided it was best to delete it as she alleged receiving rape threats, including body shaming.
“Deleted my reel with David Miller from Facebook because I absolutely couldn't bear so many graphic and disturbing rape threats and hundreds of comments body shaming me. I feel like disappearing right now," Parikh shared.
The Gujarati content creator’s video came moments after India’s defeat to South Africa in the T20 World Cup. It was Miller’s resilience that ensured Proteas returned to shape from an initial slump.
Many called out the video for being too mawkish and criticised the ICC decision to use content creators in the new World Cup tournament. Parikh said she was battered after many took jibes at her height when compared with a towering Miller. Princy, in another Instagram story, said that she would reveal the usernames of accounts that gave her rape threats on social media.
