Seven senior officials including Khamenei's advisor eliminated; IDF makes new announcement

TEL AVIV: Israel came with a new announcement following the official confirmation regarding Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s death. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced through X that all senior members of Iran's security team were eliminated. The IDF announced that it killed think tanks such as Ali Shamkhani, a senior Iranian defence official and security advisor, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander Mohammad Pakpour, and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh.

The list released by the IDF: Ali Shamkhani, Mohammad Pakpour, Saleh Asadi, Mohammad Shirazi, Aziz Nasirzadeh, Hossein Jabal Amelian, and Reza Mozaffari-Nia.

In the post on X, IDF opined that the world would be a better place without them.

Israel's Military Intelligence Directorate discovered that Iran's top security officials were meeting at two locations in Tehran, and that the surprise attack took place after that, according to a statement released by Israel. The IDF claims that the "surprise" attack took place on Saturday morning.
