THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The coordinator of Kerala exams in Gulf has recommended to postpone the SSLC and Plus Two exams to be conducted in the Gulf countries. The government will take a decision on this today. The exams will start in Kerala on March 5th itself. The SSLC exam to be held on March 5th and the higher secondary exams to be held on March 5, 6 and 7th is likely to be postponed.

Normally, the exam is conducted in nine centers in Gulf and about 2,000 centers in Kerala with the same question paper. Considering the conflict in Gulf, the exam will start in Kerala on March 5th itself and conduct the exam with a special question paper after the situation in Gulf calms down.

In the wake of the conflict, today's CBSE 10th and 12th board exams, which were to be held in centers in Iran, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE, were postponed. The new date will be announced later. CBSE has advised students to pay attention to official announcements and contact the school authorities.

CBSE had dismissed the fake news that all remaining exams of classes 10 and 12 in centers in Gulf countries have been canceled and marks will be given through alternative assessment. CBSE clarified yesterday that such news on social media should not be believed.
