TEHRAN: Tensions are escalating in the Middle East despite calls for peace. Iran's intensifying attacks on Gulf countries and US President Donald Trump's warning that Iran will be destroyed have increased concerns.

The damage to Iran's Natanz nuclear facility in the US-Israeli attack has also doubled the concern. However, there is no information that there was a radiation leak. Israel also clarified that the attack will last for weeks. Iran's attacks in the Gulf region are continuing with great intensity. It warned that it would destroy ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, caught fire in an Iranian drone attack. The US then closed the embassy here and the embassy in Kuwait. Citizens in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran were warned to be on high alert.

Embassy staff in Iraq were advised to leave the country and not to go to Baghdad International Airport. Trump later warned that the “big wave” is yet to come. Iran claims to have attacked more than 500 American and Israeli targets. In the Gulf region alone, 12 people, including Indians, were killed.

  • The death toll in Iran has passed 700.
  • More than 500 sites in 153 cities have been bombed.
  • People are trapped under rubble
  • Five Revolutionary Guard members were killed in Bushehr.
  • Death toll in Israeli attack on Hezbollah group in Lebanon has passed
