18-year-old in critical condition after attacked during temple festival in Kollam

KOLLAM: An 18-year-old boy was brutally roughed up during a temple festival. The incident happened on Sunday at the Maruthadi temple in Kollam. Harikrishnan of Kunnathur was roughed up brutally. The visuals of the incident have surfaced.

A gang surrounded Harikrishnan and his brother and attacked them. The visuals show the boy being brutally beaten and falling unconscious after hitting on his head. Harikrishnan is undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and his condition is said to be critical. The Shaktikulangara police have arrested two people in the incident. Police said that four more people are yet to be arrested and that the investigation is progressing.
