UPSC CSE final results announced; Dr Anuj Agnihotri bags first rank, multiple Malayalees crack top ranks

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Civil Services Examination final results for the year 2025. Dr Anuj Agnihotri has secured the first rank. Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull bagged the second and third ranks respectively.

Five Malayalees have found a place in the first 150 ranks. R Shruthi (18th rank), J S Sreeja (57), B Gopika (105) Ajay Raj (109), V S Sreelekshmi (133). Siddharth M Joy has bagged 271st rank. J S Sreeja belongs to Naruvamoodu in Thiruvananthapuram. Ajay Raj is a native of Kozhikode.

This is the final result after the three stages of preliminary, main and personality test. A total of 958 people qualified for IAS, IFS, APS and other posts.

The results can be checked on the commission's official websites upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. The UPSC said in a statement that the marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the results. The examination process began with the preliminary examination held on May 25, 2025. The main examination was held from August 22 to August 31. The final stage, the personality test, ended on February 27 this year. UPSC usually declares the final results within a week of the end of the interview. This time too, the results of the examination were declared within a week, without breaking the tradition.
