Minister announces arrival of KSRTC’s business class services from February

KOCHI: Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar announced the arrival of KSRTC’s business class bus service. The minister said the bus having facilities including pantry and toilet will operate services. The passengers can book food while reserving tickets. The minister also said that the business class bus will arrive by February 15. The minister’s announcement was during the inauguration of the renovated KSRTC bus stand in Ernakulam. The minister also announced the inauguration of the business class bus services at the same venue.

Ganesh Kumar said the bus that arrives will be first driven by him. The first service will be on the Thiruvananthapuram-Kochi route. While delivering speech, Hibi Eden MP praised Ganesh Kumar. He said the minister is a person who does what he says and the renovation of the KSRTC bus stand is an example of that, and may he remain a blessing to KSRTC.

The minister had earlier announced that KSRTC would start a premium business class bus service. The announcement of the transport minister was that once the development of the national highway is completed, a modern business class bus service would be started making it possible to travel from Thiruvananthapuram to Kochi in just three to four hours. The minister had said that the new buses will operate facilities similar to the business class seats on Emirates flights and that this will definitely open a new chapter in one’s travel experiences in the state.
