Suspended DySP reinstated after departmental inquiry

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DySP V. Anil, who had been suspended after being booked in a case for allegedly driving a police vehicle under the influence of alcohol, has been reinstated. He was suspended on charges including serious indiscipline, misconduct, dereliction of duty, and bringing disrepute to the police force.

According to an order issued by the Home Department, he has now been reinstated after the completion of the departmental inquiry into the incident.
