'Attempted to shoot intimate scenes and upload them on adult websites, managed to escape by luck'; Renu Sudhi raises serious allegations against director

Renu Sudhi, the wife of late mimicry artist and actor Kollam Sudhi, first gained attention through social media reels. She later became more popular after appearing in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7. After the show, she has been active with event inaugurations and album projects. Recently, she also started a subscription feature on Instagram, which drew criticism.

Now, Renu has made serious allegations about an incident during an album shoot. She claims that director Vipin Lal and a UAE-based Malayali woman Shefeena Beevi tried to film her in intimate scenes and upload them to adult websites.

Renu said she was invited to the project without being told the full story. She had agreed to act only if she was comfortable wearing modern outfits. However, she alleges that things changed after reaching the shooting location. During the shoot, she claims the director forced her to act in highly explicit scenes.

According to her, she was pressured to perform scenes such as placing grapes on her stomach and the director biting them, lip-lock scenes, and hugging and kissing the director after drinking alcohol. She also alleged that the director’s wife recorded these scenes on a mobile phone. Renu said she suspects the videos were meant to be sold on adult websites.

She strongly denied the director’s claim that the project was stopped because she used drugs on the set. Renu said she does not drink or smoke and challenged those making the allegations to provide proof.

"I managed to escape as journalists were present at the resort during the shoot. Otherwise, they would have even killed and buried me. They discussed intimate scenes after locking the door," Renu said.

Renu further claimed that Shefeena Beevi is behind the entire incident and accused her of trying to destroy her career. She said she will not return the Rs 5000 advance given by the director, as she suffered financial losses due to travel and other expenses. Renu also shared that she is now afraid to take up new projects after this experience.
