Developed relationship with 42-year-old married woman at gym; 28-year-old gym trainer commits suicide following threats from woman

BENGALURU: A new development has emerged in the case of a gym trainer’s death in Bengaluru. The family has alleged that threats from a woman he met at the gym led to his suicide. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Dileep, who was found dead in his room at home.

The family came to know about the incident through an Instagram message sent by a woman named Yogita to Dileep’s sister. After seeing the message, the family broke open the door and found him dead inside the room.

According to the family, the woman, who is married, had developed a relationship with Dileep after meeting him at the gym. Later, disputes arose between them, and she allegedly began threatening him. The family claims that these threats pushed Dileep to take his own life.

Dileep had first met the 42-year-old woman at the gym. As they became closer, she reportedly started demanding money from him. When the threats increased, Dileep filed a complaint with the police. At that time, the issue was settled through a discussion in the presence of the woman’s husband. However, the threats reportedly continued afterwards. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. A forensic team also visited the room and collected evidence.
