CUSAT student found hanging in Kochi

KALAMASSERY: A student of the CUSAT School of College of Engineering was found hanging in his room in Kochi. The deceased has been identified as Dhanush, son of Dileep, a native of Kumarapuram Puthenkara, Alappuzha. Dhanush was a sixth-semester student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

He was supposed to submit a medical certificate yesterday to make up for a shortage of attendance in order to appear for the semester examination. When he did not show up on time, a teacher tried calling him, but he did not answer. Following this, a search was conducted, and around 5 PM, he was found hanging from the window inside his rented room in a private building. Kalamassery Police have started further proceedings in the case.
