MOSCOW: Prince Harry has called for an end to the war in Ukraine. He was speaking at the Kyiv Security Forum in Ukraine, addressing global leaders and senior military officials. He said that war does not benefit anyone and pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin still has time to end the war.

“President Putin, continuous attacks are taking the lives of many people. This is not benefiting any country. It is not too late to stop this war and reduce the suffering of people in Ukraine and Russia. Putin will never win this war. Years have passed since it began, and it is clear that it has only caused losses, not victory. The loss of human life can never be justified,” Prince Harry said.

He added that Ukraine has earned global respect, but leaders who do not value human life can never be respected. “Once respect is lost, it is difficult to regain. Tens of thousands of civilians, including children, have been killed in the attacks. There have been reports of mass killings, torture, sexual violence, and forced deportations. This must be condemned. Why continue such a war?” he asked.

Prince Harry said he was speaking not just as a representative of a nation, but as a soldier and a humanitarian. He also noted that he had served in the military for ten years.
