Man, woman found hanging from same rope

THRISSUR: A man and a woman were found hanging from the same rope at Mala in Thrissur. The two have been identified as Sreejith (30) of Puthenchira and Milna (24) of Vennoor. They were found hanging in the rented house of Sreejith.

Police said Sreejith Sreejith, who was married twice, was in a relationship with Milna. Sreejith's present wife had attempted suicide a few days ago. She is presently undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Milna’s parents had fixed another marriage for her.

Meanwhile, Milna went missing the other day. The family then filed a missing complaint at the Mala police station. The bodies of Milna and Sreejith were found while the search was progressing. The inquest proceedings have been completed under the leadership of the Irinjalakuda DySP. The police said that a detailed investigation has been initiated into the incident.
