Vijay requested the people to give him a reasonable time to fulfil his promises and implement administrative reforms. Talking about the state's financial situation, Vijay announced that he would release a report on the state's financial situation for the period from 2021 to 2026. The DMK government went into power with a debt of Rs 10 lakh crore. Vijay clarified that he is taking over the government at a time when the treasury has been wiped clean.
"I have faced many difficulties to succeed in cinema, so I know the price of hunger very well. I did not come from a royal family. I am one among you. I will not give false promises to the people. I do not want even a penny from the people. All of you should give up the thought of corruption. I am not an angel; I am an ordinary person. I will only do things I am capable of.” Vijay said.
