CHENNAI: The suspense over Joseph Vijay becoming the chief minister of Tamil Nadu is still mired in ambiguity. Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, who had second thoughts, finally decided to support TVK, according to the report. It is also reported that they will hold a press conference at 10 am today regarding the support. Although VCK had earlier said that it would support Vijay's TVK, the party had a change of thought by Friday night. VCK president Thol Thirumalavan also visited DMK president MK Stalin at his house at night.

Meanwhile, AMMK leader TTV Dinakaran has come up with a new move to stop Vijay from becoming the Chief Minister. He went to the Lok Bhavan and submitted a letter to the Governor, claiming that Edappadi Palaniswami be made the Chief Minister. Dinakaran told the media that he had seen news in some media that his party’s lone Mannarkudi MLA, S Kamaraj, had supported TVK. Dinakaran reached the Lok Bhavan to inform the Governor that no such support had been given. TTV Dinakaran claimed that TVK had forged a letter in his name and demanded that an investigation be conducted into the matter. In his letter to the Governor, TTV Dinakaran requested that Vijay not be invited for the oath-taking till then and that Edappadi Palaniswami be invited to become the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, TVK has come forward to refute Dinakaran's allegations. TVK has also released a video of Kamaraj writing the letter.
