One Sabarimala devotee killed, many injured in accident

PERUMBAVOOR: One person was killed and 17 injured when the vehicle carrying Sabarimala devotees met with an accident. The dead has been identified as Dharmalingam of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The incident happened Tuesday early morning at 3.30 am.
17 devotees travelling in the mini bus and car sustained injuries. Dharmalingam was in the mini bus. The condition of five is stated to be serious. Twelve who sustained minor injuries are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Perumbavoor.
A lorry after its tyre got punctured was stopped on the road. The mini bus first rammed on to the lorry and then the car. The incident happened when the lorry driver had gone to the workshop.
