Veerendra Kumar cremated with state honours

WAYANAD: Former Union Minister and Mathrubhumi MD MP Veerendra Kumar was cremated with full state honours on the premises of his residence in Kalpetta.
The cremation took place as per the lockdown restrictions. Minister AK Saseendran attended the cremation as the representative of the state government.
Veerendra Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP and state president of Loktantrik Janata Dal political party, died of a heart attack at a private hospital in Kozhikode on Thursday night.
