Woman from England commits suicide in Amritanandamayi Math

KOLLAM: A 45-year-old woman from England committed suicide by jumping from a building at the Amritanandamayi Math in Vallikkavu. She has been identified as Huna Shepherd.
She jumped from the building when the others went for prayers. Though she was rushed to the hospital, her life could not be saved. The police and the Math authorities said that she was suffering from depression due to the lockdown as she was unable to return to her native place.
