COVID-19: Kerala reports 1184 fresh cases on Monday, 956 cases through contact; 784 recoveries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state has confirmed 1184 new COVID cases on Monday, CM Pinarayi Vijayan said. Among the new cases, 956 persons developed the disease through contact including 114 cases without an identified source of infection. While 106 persons had returned from abroad, 73 returned from other states. 41 health workers developed the disease in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 784 patients tested negative for the virus on Monday, the minister added.
