Swapna Suresh's statement was leaked from phone belonging to Customs official's wife: Intelligence report

KOCHI: The Intelligence Bureau has reported that Swapna Suresh's statement regarding the gold smuggling case was leaked from the phone belonging to the wife of a Customs official. It is learnt that Swapna's statements were recorded by the Customs official.

The report submitted by the Intelligence Bureau has exonerated Assistant Commissioner NS Dev who was removed from the investigation team.
