Woman jumps into lake with child, both die

KOLLAM: A woman jumped into the Ashtamudi Lake with her three-year-old child in Kundara. Both the bodies have been recovered. They have been identified as Rakhi and her son Aadhi. She jumped into the lake at 10 am in the morning.

The body of Rakhi was found first in the search conducted by the locals and the fire force. The body of her son was found later. Initial reports said family problems led her to take the extreme step. The police is conducting a probe.
