COVID: Kerala reports 7020 cases on Thursday, 6037 cases through contact; 8474 recoveries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 7020 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed.

Among the new cases, 6037 persons developed the disease through contact including 734 cases without an identified source of infection.

Meanwhile, 8474 patients tested negative for the virus on Thursday.

The state recorded 26 COVID deaths on Thursday with the toll rising to 1429.

As many as 54,339 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.
