Kerala logs 6419 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 5576 cases through contact, 28 death, 7066 recoveries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 6419 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, health minister KK Shailaja informed.

Among this, 5576 persons developed the disease through contact including 677 cases without an identified source of infection. 98 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 68 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 7066 patients tested negative for the virus today.

The state recorded 28 COVID deaths on Tuesday with the toll rising to 1943.
