Chandy Oommen appears for Youth Congress workers who were accused of attacking Ganesh Kumar's car; six persons granted bail

KOLLAM: Chandy Oommen, son of Congress leader and former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, appeared as a lawyer for the Youth Congress activists who have been accused of attacking the vehicle of KB Ganesh Kumar MLA in Chavara. Chandy Oommen represented the Youth Congress workers at the Karungappally court.

Police had charged the Youth Congress workers with various offenses, including attempted murder, in connection with the incident. However, Chandy Oommen, while appearing in court, maintained that these provisions did not exist. After hearing the case, the court granted bail to all the six accused.
