Indian embassy in Qatar starts procedures; Muraleedharan intervenes over issue of insulting Surendran’s daughter

Minister of state for External affairs, V Muraleedharan has started taking action on the issue of insulting BJP state chief K Surendran’s daughter via Facebook. The minister through his Facebook post has said that he strongly condemns the incident and the Indian embassy in Qatar has started measures to take action against the accused. He also added that as a first step the abusive post was removed from Facebook.

BJP president K Surendran has shared the picture on Facebook with the title, ‘my daughter, my pride.’ Below the post, an expat Keralite named Ajnas made vulgar comments on the girl. Strong reactions have been rising among BJP workers in the state, against this person. State police have also registered a case against him and have started an investigation.
