Three siblings drown at Kunisseri in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: Three siblings drowned to death at Kunisseri in Palakkad. They have been identified as Jinshadh (12), Rinshadh (7) and Rifaz (3), children of Jazeer hailing from Kariyakod. The incident happened when they were playing near a watery pit. The bodies have been shifted to a private hospital in Alathur.

The children went to play near a mosque in Kunisseri. They slipped and fell into a well while trying to wash the dirt from their hands. By the time the locals reached the spot after informed by a child, the disaster had happened.
