At last BJP has found what led to party’s defeat in Nemom and how the state of affairs in the constituency changed

​​​​​​THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The party’s district committee has evaluated that minority consolidation has led to the party’s humiliating defeat in Nemom. The meet was organised in an online mode in the presence of the prominent leaders in the state.

There was no dent in the organisational votes of BJP. Whereas the independent votes and the supporter’s votes have decreased this time. The party was also able to maintain its vote share in areas coming under jurisdiction of the corporation. For a comprehensive review, meetings will be conducted at area, panchayat and booth levels.

V V Rajesh who made the valedictory speech said that the party vote share in the district has been steadily coming down following the Vattiyoorkavu assembly bypolls. Even though the byelection candidate and state secretary S Suresh rose up to give a valid justification on Rajesh’s opinion, organisation secretary M Ganeshan said that its explanation will be given in the district core committee meet. The meet witnessed the participation of union minister V Muraleedharan, state president K Surendran, General secretary P Sudheer and secretaries C Sivankutty and Karamana Jayan.
