These are criteria for getting into priority list of vaccination for 18 years and above; important guidelines are as follows

KOLLAM: The certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner has been made mandatory for getting into the priority list of vaccination for 18 years and above. In order to get priority for vaccination the certificate is necessary.

The Cowin registration website clearly stipulates who comes under the priority list, and the model of certificate is also made available in the website. The uploaded certificates will be scrutinised at the district level and later the vaccination centre, time and date will be informed to the persons concerned via SMS.

These are the steps for registration and vaccination

  1. Website: www.cowin.gov.in
  2. To get priority visit covid19.kerala.gov.in/vaccine
  3. After entering mobile number, users will be served with an OTP
  4. A page will be displayed after entering the OTP, in which one should enter details like name, sex, district, date of birth, nearest vaccination centre and the reference ID received after registering for vaccination.
  5. Upload the certificates which specifies your disease
  6. Click submit button
  7. After the district level scrutiny, an SMS message will be received
  8. One should present the appointment SMS, ID card and certificates of one’s disease.
