Vaccine for those above 18; Priority given to 32 categories including home delivery operators and fishermen

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The vaccination priority list for those between the age group of 18 to 45 years is ready. 32 categories are on the priority list. Priority will be given to KSRTC drivers, conductors, petrol pump employees, paper distributors, handicapped, journalists, KSEB and Water Authority field staffs.

The list also includes railway TTs, drivers, airport staff, ground staff, fishermen, vegetable sellers and home delivery operators. The state level meeting held the other day prepared the priority list outside the categories proposed by the central government.

Meantime, the centre has informed that a person recovered from Covid can take the jab after three months. A person contracting the disease after the first jab can take the second dose after three months.
