Industries Minister P Rajeev contracts Covid; Aruvikkara MLA G Stephen hospitalised

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Industries Minister P Rajeev has tested positive for Covid-19. He has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital after testing positive for the virus. He tested positive at a time when he was very active in department level meetings and activities of the government.
He is the first minister in the second Pinarayi Vijayan cabinet who has been infected with the virus.
Aruvikkara MLA G Stephen was also admitted at the medical college hospital on Tuesday for Covid.
