THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader Mambaram Divakaran has said that he does not know anything about the alleged clash between Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and KPCC president K Sudhakaran during their Brennan College studies. He also revealed that to his knowledge no such incident had taken place or had been heard of.

"Sudhakaran and I studied together. Pinarayi was our senior. There were two factions in the Congress then. I was on the side of Indira and Sudhakaran on the side of the syndicate. I know incidents since the detention of CH Muhammad Koya. Back then and now there is political hostility towards Pinarayi Vijayan. I fought directly with the CPM from 1973 to 1984", Divakaran said.

During his studies at Brennan, no one had heard of Sudhakaran's claim that he kicked down Pinarayi. There were many clashes during my and AK Balan's time. AK Balan was the leader of the Left Students' Organization at the time. Divakaran clarified that Pinarayi Vijayan's revelation that Sudhakaran had planned to kidnap his children is new information and haven't heard about it from anyone.
