THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been lodged with the Commission For Protection Of Child Rights against Kollam MLA Mukesh for speaking harshly to a student who called for help. The complaint was lodged against Mukesh by student body MSF. They want action to be taken against the MLA who threatened the 10th class student for making multiple phone calls.

Mukesh MLA talked rudely to a 10th class student who called for help from Palakkad. An audio clip of Mukesh saying that he should call his local MLA for help and that he would slap the child's friend who gave him his number has been circulating on social media.

However, Mukesh said that the audio was part of a plan against him. Mukesh says he has been facing such harassing phone calls in various ways since the election results came out. He added that nobody have to tell him how to treat children. "This is part of a political campaign. No one should believe this. A complaint has been lodged at the police station", he said.
