Bodies of missing fishermen found in Kasargod

KASARGOD: The bodies of the fishermen who went missing after their boat capsized in Kizhoor have been found. They have been identified as Sandeep (29), son of Sasidharan, Ratheesan (33), son of Ambadikadavan and Karthik (22), son of Shanmughan, all hailing from Kasaba. The incident happened when they went for fishing.
The bodies of the three were found from Kottikkulam area. Their fibre boat was damaged by the rough waves yesterday early morning. Four people who were with them swam to safety. The accident was caused by a whirlpool formed in the sea near the tetra pods near Kasargod harbour.
