Sedition case political agenda of Centre, DYFI announces support for Aisha Sultana

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: DYFI has extended full support to filmmaker Aisha Sultana, who has been booked on sedition charges following a complaint by a BJP leader. DYFI state president S Satish made the announcement after meeting Aisha Sultana in Kochi. The DYFI made it clear that it would give all legal support to Aisha’s fight. It also said that the case against Aisha was part of the central government's political agenda.

Meanwhile, Lakshadweep police, who questioned Aisha Sultana the other day, had taken her brother's laptop into custody. They also checked her brother's bank transaction records. Aisha Sultana said that the police action was part of the agenda of others.
