Govt did not hide Covid death toll, will check if there is any discrepancy in figures: CM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday said that the government did not hide the Covid death toll in the state. If there was any discrepancy between the districts and the state figures, it will be crosschecked, the CM said while addressing the assembly.

"If there is a technical issue in recording the death rate, it can be resolved. The government does not have a stubborn stance on this matter," he said. He also said that the increase in TPR in the state is not a matter of concern.
