Kerala Kaumudi employee dies of Covid

KOLLAM: A Kerala Kaumudi employee who was undergoing treatment for Covid has passed away. The deceased has been identified as Chathannoor native Saigal (61). He had been undergoing treatment for Covid at the Co-operative Hospital in Kollam for a long time. During this period, he contracted pneumonia. He died at around 2 am yesterday while undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
His funeral took place at Polayathodu cemetery. Saigal is survived by wife Lathika, children Sithara Saigal and Malavika Saigal.
