Actress attack case: Kavya Madhavan appears in court

KOCHI: Actress Kavya Madhavan appeared at the special CBI court in Kochi for cross-examination of witnesses in the actress attack case. Though Kavya appeared in the court in May, she was not cross-examined then.
Kavya’s husband Dileep is the eighth accused in the case. There are more than 300 witnesses in the case. The cross-examination of 178 have been completed. The CBI Court has sought six more months’ time to the apex court to complete the trial.
The actress was allegedly abducted and molested insider her car when she was on her way to Kochi from Thrissur for shooting in February 2017. The police had arrested many including Pulsar Suni on the complaint of the actress.
