Nadar reservation: No stay in HC single bench’s order

KOCHI: There is no stay in the high court single bench order in connection with Nadar reservation. The high court accepted the plea filed by the state government against the single bench order.

The single judge had earlier held that only the President and not the state government had the right to expand the list. This was highlighting the Maratha case.

Meantime, the government claimed that the decision had been taken even before the Maratha case. A division bench led by the Chief Justice of the High Court will hear detailed arguments in the case.
