Insulted Bhagat Singh, Yuva Morcha files complaint against MB Rajesh

NEW DELHI: A complaint has been lodged with the Delhi Police against Kerala Assembly Speaker MB Rajesh for allegedly insulting Bhagat Singh. According to a complaint filed by Yuva Morcha leader Anoop Antony, MB Rajesh insulted Bhagat Singh by comparing him to Variyamkunnath Kunjahammed Haji.

MB Rajesh made the remark while speaking at a memorial function organized by the State Library Council on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Malabar Rebellion. "Variyamkunnath Kunhahammad Haji was a leader who upheld secularism. Variyamkunnath Kunhahammad Haji, who asked for martyrdom in his own country, is like Bhagat Singh," he said during the function.
