KABUL: Reports said a war broke out between Taliban and Northern Alliance in the Panjshir Valley in Afghanistan. The Northern Alliance claimed to have killed 350 Taliban insurgents.

Meantime, the Taliban have claimed control of key parts of the valley. Taliban have issued a final warning to Panjshir leaders asking them to surrender as soon as possible. The Taliban have closed all roads to Panjshir and have snapped all communications.

The announcement of the Taliban government in Kabul is expected this week. The Taliban is reportedly declaring a government with a top religious leader modelled on Iran. Hibatullah Akhunzada will be the supreme leader.
