Migrant worker brutally beaten, footages out

THODUPUZHA: A complaint has been lodged against a three-member team for brutally beating a migrant worker. Noor Shaheen, a native of Assam, was assaulted brutally. The incident happened at Mangattu Kavala in Thodupuzha. The CCTV footages of the incident are out.

Noor, a hotel employee, was beaten by a group of three people who came to have food. The incident happened last night. After eating, the three-member team asked him to parcel the remaining food.

The three-member team also demanded to provide one more biryani free of cost. The hotel owner said the ensuing dispute ended in the attack. Noor Shaheen had lodged a complaint with the police. However, it is heard that he withdrew the complaint after the accused threatened him.
