Woman ends life after poisoning baby in Chengannur

CHENGANNUR: A woman ended her life after poisoning her baby to death. Adhithi (24) of Aala in Chengannur committed suicide after poisoning her six-month-old baby. The incident happened late last night. The baby died this morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thiruvalla. Adhithi’s husband Sooryan Namboodiri died of Covid two months ago. Police believe that she may have taken this extreme step due to this.
